Canada started the New Year quite well with 35 deals in one month. Some of the most noteable transactions are from CTI Life Sciences that closed an initial $134M for its 2nd venture capital fund and D-wave Systems, a BC startup that was able to raise $29M to accelerate development of its quantum hardware and software solution and to expand the software application ecosystem.
