During the month of September, 29 funding deals took place within Canada. Some of the most notable transactions were from Blackberry that acquired Good Technology for $425 million and Breather, a Montreal based startup that raised USD$30 million from Emerillon Capital, Blue Cloud Ventures, NorthLeaf Catalyst Fund,Rogers Ventures, Summerhill Venture Partners, Georgian Partners and OpenText Enterprise Apps Fund.
