During the month of September, 33 funding deals took place. Some of the most notable transactions were from the Canadian Government who is dedicating $900 Million to help universities become world leading research centres. As well as Thalmic Labs, a Waterloo based startup that raised $158 Million Series B from Intel Capital, The Amazon Alexa, and Fidelity Investments Canada.
