During the month of December, 21 funding deals took place within Canada. Some of the most notable transactions were from Shaw Communications that acquired Wind Mobile for $1.6 billion and Allocadia, a Vancouver-based startup that raised $22 million from Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), iNovia Capital and Altos.
