L-SPARK is an Ottawa-based Incubator and Accelerator for the Enterprise Software market, supported by Wesley Clover International and Invest Ottawa. L-SPARK’s objective is to help build companies that focus on delivering high quality, high-value-enterprise tools by arming innovative entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to succeed.
Submissions for Session 1 is now open. The Incubator will provide guidance and tools that will help validate and enhance the technology and product concepts your company is planning to develop in the Enterprise Software and SaaS sectors.
Entrepreneurs, researchers, sole-founders, and co-founders with industry experience, a tested proof of concept, pre-trial software application, and some pre-revenue traction for an applicable technology are all welcome to apply and can submit an application latest February 27 2015, 12:00 am EST.
The chosen startups will participate in a 4 month intensive program, taking place March 31, 2015 to July 29, 2015, with mentors, investors and business advisors.
- The 8 chosen companies are expected to temporarily move to Ottawa during the 4 month period
- The 8 startups will pitch in month 2, to selected angels and VCs for a possible seed round funding
- All 8 startups will then pitch at DEMO DAY in month 4, to selected angels and VCs for a possible seed round funding
