The .CA Community Investment Program was created three years ago as an initiative to support internet related community projects that help build a better online Canada. To date, the .CA Community Investment Program has awarded over two million dollars to more than 50 projects across Canada aiming to build a safer, stronger and more accessible internet for Canadians. Projects range from four key areas: infrastructure, online services, research and digital literacy.
The .CA Community Investment Program is excited to announce that they are now accepting applications for the third round of funding! The application process is open until 2pm on March 4th. The grant awarded will be approximately $25,000 - $50,000 to a maximum of $100,000. To be eligible for funding, applicants must be not-for-profit organizations, organizations recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency as registered charities or academics and researchers affiliated with a Canadian University. The organizations must be based in Canada and the projects may not exceed one year in duration and must benefit Canadians.
